چکیده
Abstract Background Gray blight is among the most destructive diseases that affect tea plants worldwide. In this study, microorganisms from deep-sea sediment samples for those with antagonistic effects were screened against gray caused by Pestalotiopsis theae . Results Thirty-two and twenty-eight morphologically different bacteria fungi isolated, respectively. Isolates B5 A65 clearly inhibited pathogens in vitro prepared as wettable agent powders evaluation micro-plot field trials. Foliar application of 48-h culture (1 × 10 8 , 2 7 1 colony-forming units (CFU)/ml) significantly reduced incidence disease. Compared to untreated control, spraying disease 78.57%. Isolate was identified Bacillus subtilis morphological 16S rDNA sequence analyses. The foliar 7-day cultures CFU/ml) (10 75.46% Paecilomyces lilacinus internally transcribed spacer Conclusions These candidate microbial pesticides may inhibit wilt tea, replace chemical pesticides’ use without causing environmental pollution, promote development green agriculture.

متن کاملEnantioselective Utilization of D-Amino Acids by Deep-Sea Microorganisms
Microorganisms that utilize various D-amino acids (DAAs) were successfully isolated from deep-sea sediments. The isolates were phylogenetically assigned to Alphaproteobacteria, Gammmaproteobacteria, and Bacilli. Some of the isolates exhibited high enantioselective degradation activities to various DAAs. In particular, the Alphaproteobacteria Nautella sp. strain A04V exhibited robust growth in m...
متن کاملDeep-sea microorganisms and the origin of the eukaryotic cell
Living cells are deeply divided into two enormously divergent levels of complexity: prokaryotic and eukaryotic. Eukaryotes are thought to have developed from prokaryotic predecessors; however the large differences in their cellular structures results in equally large questions of how the process might have occurred. In 2012, in the deep-sea off the coast of Japan, we discovered a unique microor...
